Cummins N14 Engine Stats

The Cummins N14 is by far one of their most popular Diesel Engines that is very versatile. Used to power everything from motorhomes, commercial trucks, generators and agricultural and construction equipment. The N14 engine was produced in the late 80’s until 2000. With slight changes during its production years, the core of this engine has not changed at all. The N14 engine’s ignition fires off its cylinders in the order of 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4.

Cummins N14 Horsepower

The Cummins N14 is capable of producing between 310 and 525 horsepower. The N14 is capable of generating 1,250 to 1,850 foot-pounds of torque at 1,200 RPM. Cummins released the upgraded N14 in 1997. This was the Celect Plus fuel system, but looked similar. The Celect Plus ECM has many more adjustable parameters for adjustments that the customer prefers. In 2000, the Cummins was discontinued and replaced by the Cummins ISX.
